Volga-Dnepr Group of Companies

In December 2010 NAYADA accomplished works on decoration of Volga-Dnepr Group of Companies' office.

NAYADA was chosen from a large group of competitors in the course of the announced tender. Its products, visual lightness of constructions, possibility to use space to the best effect and realize uncommon designers' solutions corresponded to the project task.

Volga-Dnepr Group of Companies is the world leader in the sector of air transportation of unique outsized loads and the largest Russian cargo air carrier.

Corporate values of the company, its expertise and responsibility for peoples' lives, freedom , lightness were represented in the interior with the help of transparent NAYADA-Standart and NAYADA-Crystal partitions and the new NAYADA-Standart Map system. The total area of installed partitions is about 730 sq.m. These partition systems are used to zone work places ? Conference rooms, corridors, offices, dining halls, and utility rooms.

A new partition system NAYADA-Standart-Map allowed to accentuate and emphasize the company respectability. The construction of NAYADA-Map is assembled on the basis of NAYADA-Standart. Blank panels (laminated, decorated with veneer) are not simply inserted into the sections, but make an expressive click. Square or rectangular decorative sections, into which partition is divided, stand out more with the help of protruding edges and anodized strip between them.

Combination of light oak veneer and glass with the company logo creates warm and cozy space in reception zones on the 1st and the 6th floors.

The project itself contained several compositional tasks, which were successfully completed by NAYADA. For instance, one of the solutions offered by the company was the use of NAYADA-Standart-Map partitions as the carcass of the built-in cabinet unit. Its facade was made of curved glass, which made the zone easier for perception. Thus two problems have been solved: unified style of the area, predetermined by NAYADA-Standart-Map partition and functional use of angles for display cabinet units. Such lightness would not be achieved if the architect had simply combine partitions with the built-in furniture. Another peculiarity of the project is the reception zone on the 6th floor. It represents an interesting and sophisticated combination of various types of partitions, alternation of straight section with non-standard radial ones. They are made of veneer and include curved glass panels.

NAYADA-Standart-Map system was used to decorate corridors, offices and conference rooms. Built-in cabinets were specially designed for conference rooms. The length of one of the cabinets reached almost 7 meters. Glass shelves for non-standard types of furniture are installed. Cabinets are equipped with lighting system, transparent single swing doors made of glass.

NAYADA-Parapetto system was installed along the whole perimeter of NAYADA-Standart partitions to provide safety in the glass mezzanine. More than 100 doors wee installed in the Volda-Dnepr office. These are laminated doors in aluminum frame and all-glass doors providing hugh sound insulation.

Client orientation and efficiency of NAYADA together with flawless quality allowed to accomplish the project in a short term – in three months.
