The Russian company NAYADA took part in the largest international exhibition of furniture and interior accessories industry I Saloni 2013, which was held in Milan (Italy) from April 9 to 14. The exhibition was dedicated to the theme «Milan. Interiors of the Future».
I Saloni brings together the world’s leading manufacturers of interior furniture and accessories. The scale of this year’s exhibition is striking — more than 2,500 world brands, 204,850 sq. m. of exhibition space in the Fiera Milano in Rho, Italy, more than 300,000 professionals and private visitors from 160 countries, and a rich business and entertainment program, covering the whole of Milan.
NAYADA (one of the world leaders in the production of office partitions) is the only Russian company that exhibited at the SaloneUfficio, an International Biennale, dedicated to improving the quality of working conditions and the creation of comfortable workspace designs. This year, the exhibition organizers laid special emphasis on the Office of the Future, as the workplace is an integral part in the life of a modern specialist.
NAYADA presented at its stand, with an area of 300 sq. m., five offices for executives, created by the leading architectural firms of Russia as a part of the «12 Architects. Offices» project, the Ostrova (Islands) workstations created by the winner of the ArchiChallenge contest Arseny Leonovich, samples of frameless Smartballs furniture, as well as partitions, which are the company’s main products.
From the very beginning of I Saloni, the Russian stand aroused great interest of the visitors. Modern materials, advanced technologies and bold design of the Offices awoke the interest of both industry professionals and managers, wishing to purchase items for their offices. Bright ideas and their qualitative implementation surprised and interested representatives from Germany, USA, UK, France, Israel, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Argentina.
Among the visitors, there were many well-known figures of architecture such as Jean Nouvel, who presented his new project Office for Life project, Michele Rossi, the head of Park Associati Architectural Design Studio, Marco Piva, the founder of Studiodada Associates, Luca Scacchetti, an Italian designer and architect. These prominent architects praised the quality and design of Russian offices for executives, and wished NAYADA and its ArchProjects further success.
«This was the most intense exhibition, characterized by continuous work during the entire period of I Saloni. The visitors’ reactions to our work have surpassed all our expectations. We had a huge number of visitors and a few sales from the stand. There was enthusiastic surprise, genuine interest in the visitors’ eyes, and they all smiled. It was nice to feel the support of our fellow countrymen as well, who were proud of the Russian manufacturers. In addition to the »12 Architects. Offices" project and the «Islands» workstations, we presented new trends in partitions and doors. The reaction of our Western colleagues can be generalized by the following phrase: «You are different, you bring something new!» All this inspires us for further development," said Dmitry Cherepkov, President of the NAYADA Group of Companies.
The official presentation of the «12 Architects. Offices» project was made as part of the exhibition. NAYADA’s «Russian Welcome» gathered numerous visitors, potential customers and the media. The presentation was complemented by personal presentations of Russian architects Sergey Choban, Vladimir Kuzmin, and Totan Kuzembayev. The architects talked about their work on the Projects and expressed their gratitude to NAYADA for giving them the opportunity to realize their creative ideas.
