Travel in comfort: NAYADA masters integrated development of public areas at Holiday Inn Express Sheremetyevo hotel

NAYADA was chosen as the principal supplier and manufacturer of interior solutions for public areas at Holiday Inn Express Moscow hotel (a part of IHG InterContinental Hotels Group). The hotel is located within walking distance from Sheremetyevo International Airport that makes it highly demanded among travelers.

The hotel consisting of 198 rooms has special areas dedicated to work or leisure. Fusion APB, a project architect, created a homy and cozy but also a dynamic environment for the lobby interior. Due to warm wooden finish and professional space zoning, Express Café & Bar and lobby turned into comfortable relax zones to visit before or after your flight.

NAYADA faced a new challenge with this project: the team had to produce the dream solution perfectly meeting the architects’ designs in strict compliance with IHG requirements and within tight time limits of as little as 40 days. To achieve this ambitious target, NAYADA experts proactively communicated with all the suppliers connected to the project. As a result, they managed to realize the tasks with due quality and in due time even being ahead of the hotel opening deadline!

NAYADA products were applied to all the public areas of the hotel: lobby, café, restaurant, corridors. The total area processed by NAYADA is 2,456 sq m! All the furniture solutions for this project were manufactured at the LEPOTA design furniture factory.

The main scope of the works involves the NAYADA-Regina oak veneer wall panels. Decorative lamels covering the walls and ceilings with built-in lighting are also made from oak.

Natural oak was also used to finish the furniture specially designed for the project and including the bar counter, a reception stand, desks, fancy stacks, shelves and the Lavoro office furniture for the employees.

All the NAYADA-Regina doors were also produced from oak veneer.

Restaurant and lobby area of the hotel features the SmartWall H7 transformable partition with a built-in door finished with the Fineline oak veneer. Where necessary, the lobby space can be divided into two separate rooms, for example, to host business events and conferences.
