NAYADA stands for ecological safety of production in Russia and the rest of the world.

A traditional meeting of Russian WWF corporate club was held in November. This year the main topic of discussion was «Stability of development in Russia and other countries. New opportunities in new environment».

What is an «ecological trace of the humankind» and how it can be measured and reduced? How to keep the resources of the planet for the future generations? Can environmental and social responsibility of a company become its competitive advantage? Is it possible to significantly improve energy efficiency of the existing business? These and other questions were discussed during the seminar.

All the members of the club pointed out that the difficulties that the global economy is facing now is an eloquent evidence of the consequences of leading a life above means, not only in economic, but also in ecological sense. The members of the modern business community should think about the results of human impact on the environment and work at saving the planet for the future generations.

NAYADA is actively developing corporate ecological projects. Building the first eco-house in Moscow is going to be one of them. NAYDA is also implementing a program “Green Office” in all its offices. This program presupposes the promotion of ecological way of thinking among staff. The previous experience showed that reducing the amount of paper, electricity and water used in the office is achieved by promoting this eco-thinking. Moreover, the habit of economizing on natural resources at work remains in every day life.
