NAYADA participated in the creation of boarding school for the Lomonosov Moscow State University for intellectually gifted children
The NAYADA Company participated in the establishment of a boarding school for the Lomonosov Moscow State University for gifted children – a unique innovative project aimed at solving educational tasks. One of its main objectives – is to reveal the talents of intellectually gifted students in Russia. The MSU School will allow us to basically raise the next generation of specialists: eminent scientists, inventors, architects, politicians, businessmen and cultural figures. Project Architect was Alexey Olegovich Murashko. For this project, NAYADA installed a number of fire-resistant constructions, partition systems and fencing.
The school has been designed for 350 students. It consists of five buildings with a total area of 28,400 square meters. In these are located a community center, an educational and sports block and two residency buildings. Products made by NAYADA companies were installed in all areas of the institution. Taken together, the volume of installed partitions surpassed 2,000 square meters.
The complex of buildings of the boarding school of Lomonosov Moscow State University for intellectually gifted children provides everything needed for the training and accommodation of students. The equipment in the rooms and their interior designs are specifically developed to create an atmosphere in which the process of learning will ensure perfect comfort, to enhance learning efficiency, to maintain a high level of psycho-emotional state of pupils, and to ensure that their stay at the boarding school is enjoyable.
Particular attention was paid to safety in the building and its compliance with all technical standards. For this project, the experts of NAYADA carefully developed design solutions, taking into account the specifics of this institution. The main volume of glazed firewalls, the NAYADA-Fireproof EIW-45, blocking the penetration of the fire for an hour, was used in the zoning of the educational blocks. The area of installed fire-resistant structures is 1,500 square meters.
According to the design created by the project architects, all the rooms have plenty of natural light, as much as is possible, through the use of glass structures. Therefore, extra glass NAYADA-Standart inserts were added. For the project, we used strong glass with a thickness of 10 mm.
Educational classrooms are equipped with acoustic baffles of the NAYADA-SmartWall H7 transformable partitions system, which can provide separate classrooms or be combined into one large space.
Sliding partitions, made in the same color scheme as other partition systems, are supplemented with solid glass "windows". The wide frames in the dense materials ensures reliability, while the translucent inserts visually enlarge the space and transmit more light.
Classic NAYADA-Standart partitions, with hinged and sliding doors, are located in the recreational and meeting zones.
In the stair exit zones, the partitions are decorated with Lacobel painted glass.
For internal fencing of staircases, we used the NAYADA-Parapetto, made of polished stainless steel, which were installed on all floors of the building. For the pool area, we created a glass-fenced stand on the balcony.
A large amount of work was performed on street fencing using NAYADA-Parapetto. Polished stainless steel transoms were used to make the fencing and railings of the ramps.
"For us, it was important to create a multidisciplinary educational environment, where the intellectual and personal potential of a gifted child will open up during the learning process, and what is especially valuable, during the practical activities, including in the implementation of projects that are in demand in today's world,"said Academician V.A. Sadovnichy, Rector of the Lomonosov MSU.
