Nayada partitions in the office of Yandex
Yandex, the largest Russian IT company, which also owns a similarly-named search engine and a web-site, needs no introduction. This is the fourth project for Yandex executed by designers from za bor architectural studio. For the second year in a row Pyotr Zaitsev and Arseny Borisenko take the first prize in the ArchiEmbodiment of the ArchiContest. In 2009 they received the first prize for the Moscow office, and at the 5th ArchiContest the jurors distinguished Yandex-Yekaterinburg.
Since Yandex company is famous for its formal approach to the working process and its staff works on a 24-hour basis, apart from a big and a small conference hall and an open space zone the project included a fitness hall, a kitchen, coffee points, as well as conference rooms detached from corridors with the help of NAYADA-Standart partitions. Such partitions are not only aesthetically attractive but also soundproof. NAYADA-Crystal all-glass partition separating an open space zone and a conference room is also worth mentioning.
