NAYADA Decorated the Biggest Workki Network Co-Working in Moscow
NAYADA took part in decorating the biggest Workki network co-working Komsomolskaya. This is the second project NAYADA implemented for the popular network. Co-working is designed by DA architecture bureau.
Office space is created in a four-storey building with a total area of 4500m2. It features 628 working stations in personal offices, 100 fixed open-space workplaces, 10 meeting rooms and also has 4 dining and recreational areas.
Idea behind Workki-Komsomolskaya is similar to the one NAYADA developed for Workki – Park Kultury. Both places are decorated using different colours inspiring different mood, so the residents can choose a zone they like the best. Workki-Komsomolskaya is youthful and cheerful, while Workki – Park Kultury is discreet and understated.
In Workki-Komsomolskaya the idea was realized of dividing floors by colour. The first floor is blue, the second is green and the third is yellow. This divide was also reflected in NAYADA’s partition solution. Two systems of partitions and doors are used in the project: NAYADA-Twin soundproof double glass panels and NAYADA-Crystal light all-glass doors. Profiles are painted yellow, blue, green and black to match interiors.
The project’s main concept is to create comfortable environment for small companies and start-ups in big cities. The Workki’s main feature is that along with mini offices for rent it provides comprehensive infrastructure – all residents have access to meeting rooms, recreational and playing areas, receive personal correspondence via community managers and hold business meetings in open meeting areas.
The planning solutions is based on the idea of placing office areas at the perimeter along the light front and putting all the communal facilities in the less illuminated central zone of the floor. Still, the offices are shaped in regular rectangles and communal facilities are grouped in round volumes appearing to be cut from one side with a glass surface.
Smooth shapes of these volumes help reduce passages by integrating them into a single space, passing from one zone to the other.
Recreational and co-working areas are designed in every part of the office, along with mini meeting rooms for Skype calls. All zones are made functional and comfortable for residents.
