NAYADA creates CIP Lounge for Turkish Airlines in Vnukovo
The Istanbul-Moscow CIP Lounge of Turkish Airlines, with which NAYADA has been cooperating since 2010, is located at the Vnukovo International Airport. The proprietary hall of the Turkish Airlines for business class passengers is decorated in the best traditions of Turkish hospitality, and meets the highest European quality standards. The hall can accommodate up to 150 passengers at a time and operates 24/7.
The lounge zone, with a total area of 635 square meters, has all the comforts needed when waiting for a flight – a restaurant with a large selection of Turkish and international dishes, free high-speed Wi-Fi, billiards, a children’s play area, prayer rooms, a section for meetings and teleconferences, and a transparent storage chamber.
The CIP Lounge concept is based on creating a separate world within the airport space. Simple spherical partitions divide the lounge area into sections, providing comfortable and aesthetic connections between them. NAYADA-Crystal glass partitions, mounted on the outer perimeter of the hall, separate it from the public areas of the airport. It is worth noting, the hard work that was done during the installation of self-supporting structures, which were not allowed to reach the ceiling. NAYADA experts installed additional special ribs on the walls to ensure greater stability. In addition, by request of the customer, stainless steel curtain holders were installed on the all-glass partitions.
The interior design features both classical and modern styles. Soft sofas, subdued lighting, and calm colors create a special atmosphere of comfort and relaxation. In the recreational area, NAYADA installed a cabinet, custom made by the LEPOTA Design Furniture Factory. The installation of this cabinet presented a special challenge, as it was supposed to fit into a niche in the arch structure. The cabinet is three meters high and five meters long, and so it had to be made from three sections.
For this project, NAYADA manufactured and installed a series of doors. Thus, NAYADA-Standart automatic sliding doors were installed at the entrance. Service entrances were decorated with white NAYADA-Fireproof EIW-60 doors, which can block the penetration of a fire for one hour.
The prayer rooms have sliding veneered doors from NAYADA. The washrooms have doors covered with natural Makassar veneer.
