NAYADA at opening of Totan Exhibition

The NAYADA Company visited the opening of the exhibition of its friend and participant of the project “12 Architects. Offices” Totan Kuzembayev. The presentation of the solo exhibition Totan was held on September 27 in the Enfilade of A.V. Schusev State Museum of Architecture.

Each room of the museum is presented as a separate installation, illustrating the diverse and multi-faceted work of the universal author. Many of them were executed by Totan himself. Each visitor could touch these works, uniting art and architecture. The atmosphere of the event enabled visitors to immerse themselves fully in a special world created by Totan.

Totan Kuzembayev is one of the most well-known modern architects in Russia and abroad. Totan has headed his own architectural office for over 10 years now. He always experiments with shapes and materials – the exhibition presents not only his architectural projects but also his art objects, interior design items, paintings, sketches and drawings.

The grand opening of the Totan Exhibition was held in the main hall of the museum, where the “Victoria” collection of executive office furniture (“12 Architects. Offices” project of Nayada) was placed. This project has been presented at the largest Russian and international exhibitions several times already, including the Orgatec 2012 in Cologne and the major exhibition of the furniture industry, the I Saloni 2013 in Milan.

A welcome speech was delivered by Irina Korobina, the Director of the Museum of Architecture. Irina talked about the creative work of Totan Kuzembayev and about the concept of the exhibition itself. The author of the exposition also spoke to visitors – this architect, painter and sculptor shared his feelings and impressions from his exhibition and noted its singularity. It is this vey exhibition that reflects the entire complex and different sides of Totan Kuzembayev’s creative works.

The Totan Exhibition will last until November 1.
