What 2016 will be remembered for: NAYADA reflects on the outgoing year
As tradition demands, NAYADA summarizes the results of the outgoing year – which turned out to be very rich indeed, varied and interesting. Here we present a brief overview of major events that NAYADA held in the year 2016.
During 2016, NAYADA created thousands of new beautiful spaces in Russia and CIS countries. More than 2,000 projects have been realized in the Moscow Region this passing year, out of the 3,500 projects completed by the company.
This year NAYADA participated in such major projects as the offices of Adidas and Avito, the Eurasia Tower, the Palace of Arts in Surgut, the Boarding School of Moscow State University, Yasno Pole Ecopark, Stanislavsky Electrotheater, Oceania SEC, Algorithm BC, the fitness clubs WorldClass and EncoreFitness, Museum of Russian Impressionism, a library in Krasnoyarsk, an Interregional Clinical and Diagnostic Center in Kazan, and many others.
An important event in 2016 for the company was the consolidation of transformer partition systems under a single brand – the SmartWall, as well as a significant expansion of the product range of these systems. A landmark project was the Avito office, where within a tight schedule, NAYADA created a product that has not been produced before by any company in the world – soundproofed transformable partitions with glazing and mobile transparent and soundproofed doors.
In addition to SmartWall, this year the company has introduced several important new products. In particular, the new line of operational office furniture – the LAVORO 3.0. The LAVORO-Designer includes a number of elements with which it is possible to create any working space configurations. The collection was designed and is produced at the LEPOTA Design Furniture Factory. LAVORO is an effective solution for arranging various functional zones in offices – executive offices, working spaces, meeting zones, and spaces for teamwork.
NAYADA supplemented its door systems assortment with the new universal NAYADA-Vitero doors and NAYADA-Magic double doors, with soundproofing up to 44 dB.
Projects in which NAYADA participated have been, as usual, nominated for prizes in the main interior design awards – the Best Office Awards 2016. Among the nominees of this year was NAYADA’s own production plant office. As of today, NAYADA is represented in 124 projects listed in the Rating NEXT – a ranking of supplier companies. In addition, NAYADA has participated in three projects that won prizes at the MCFO Awards – the offices of Avito, Adidas and UNKproject.
The Second All-Russia Festival of Green Architecture and Ecological Lifestyle, the Eko_tektonika 2016, was held at a promising new area for living and recreation in harmony with nature, the Ecopark Yasno Pole. The NAYADA Company was a partner of this event. This year, NAYADA held a contest among the second year students of the Architectural Environment Design Department of the Moscow Institute of Architecture – to create a summer guesthouse in Yasno Pole Ecopark.
The company's corporate life became particularly active this year. Morning porridge in the office, Fruit Fridays, holidays, volleyball tournaments, bicycle races and even corporate rafting – creating pleasant memories, in addition to useful corporate trainings and seminars.
Company holidays, which traditionally unite all departments and offices, took the form of a family of suburban Eco-Festival in the Yasno Pole Ecopark. The key theme of this event was NAYADA HEROES, where everyone, even the youngest participants, was able to feel like a hero: participating in competitive tests, erecting a real eco-mobile, taking part in races and master classes, or in a special radio broadcast of NAYADA FM.
