“Islands” from NAYADA won the first place in the “Russian Design” competition.
Participants in the “Russian Design” competition received their awards following the results of the Russian Creative Fest 2013. The workstation “Islands” of NAYADA (designed by Arseny Leonovich, winner of the international competition NAYADA ArchChallenge: Object 2012 in the category “Co-working furniture”), received the main prize of the competition.
Product design competition “Russian Design” was established by the Council of Experts of Interior Design and Architectural Environment in 2007. The project aims to provide a platform for the development of domestic industrial design and its integration into international industry.
The furniture collection “Islands”, manufactured in the production facilities of the NAYADA Company, continues to gain increasing acceptance of by Russian and international industry professionals. The co-working office suite has repeatedly been presented at the stands of NAYADA both at Russian and foreign sites, including at the exhibition of office industry Orgatec in Cologne in 2012 and the international furniture exhibition I Saloni 2013 in Milan.
“Islands” are designed for teamwork and consist of four tables of different sizes and shapes. Every item that complements the tables in the form of islands has a dual purpose.
It is planned to launch a serial production of a wide assortment of the furniture system “Islands” in various finishes and options.
